Transform Your Life With One Simple Action

Have you noticed that many people are more interested in what they can get from God as opposed to God Himself? As a result, many people are looking to new age religion in their pursuit of happiness. Many are becoming more involved in a variety of new age methods that are leading them away from God instead of towards Him. People are even looking to scientific studies to find out how to live more happier, and fulfilling lives. I know this because I used to be one of them. When traverse this fine line between Christianity, and new age religion you can find yourself in pursuit of everything but God. You look for peace, love, joy, and everything in between all the while leaving out the God who is the provider of all of these things.

In the word God provides the path to peace that suppasses all understanding, how to obtain His divine love, and unspeakable joy. It all lies in obeying His commands. All we need to do is actually put the word into action. So much in your life can change by simply putting one scripture into action. Try it, and watch your life transform into all that you desire it to be.  All that you need is in Christ. When you seek God first everything else in your life gradually falls into place.

When you make an effort to put God’s word into practice on a daily basis, you’ll notice that everything not of God begins to fall away. When you are busy putting the word into action, you have no time to live a fear-based life; the negative emotions begin to subside, and you are left with an unshakeable peace. You begin to operate in God’s perfect love when you obey his commands, and perfect love casts out fear.

The God who created us knows exactly how we are wired. He’s the one who made us. He desires that we live life in abundance, and has provided us with clear instructions on how to obtain the life we desperately long for. So the next time you find yourself in pursuit of the gifts instead of the giver of the gifts just remember: Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
