You Were Not Created to Worry

Do you ever find yourself constantly worrying about what’s next? Do you find yourself wondering if you have made all of the right decisions, or whether or not you should have taken that leap of faith? It’s hard to live in this world of uncertainty, where you don’t know which choice is the correct one. What if I told you that the worries that you have do not have to consume you? What if I told you that you CAN live securely? In order to live securely in life all you need to do is to trust in God. That’s it. Have an unwavering trust that everything will be okay. Trusting in God means relying on Him and having confidence in Him. It’s knowing fact that He will come through for you. Jeremiah 29:11 states ‘for I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’. He promises plans of peace and well-being. He promises to give you a future and hope. Rest in this promise. Let it ease your fears and take away your worries. Meditate on the fact that God is dependable, He is loyal, and He will always come through. If you just chew on that you will not have anything to worry about. That word right there should settle with finality any worry or anxiety that pops up in your head. Bills need to be paid? Don’t have enough faith to walk in your destiny? Trouble in your family? Not sure that you what you God laid on your heart is actually going to come to pass? Just dwell on the fact that He’s trustworthy and reliable. Think back on the things that He’s done for you. Think about the fulfillment of the promises He made to the children of Israel. Everything that He promised them came to pass. He says that His word will not return unto Him void, but it will accomplish what it has set out to do (Isaiah 55:11). Anytime you feel a little bit of anxiety creeping up remember these things. Hold on to these things. Believe these things.
